Also through neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections, a continuous and evolving yoga practice contributes to adaptive mental habits and management of stress. We want you to develop practices that are suitable for your needs. When your body needs maintenance, whether you are recovering from a strain, an injury or an illness, you feel EMPOWERED by finding out how to enhence the healing process. The poses presented will be your go-to poses.

Let's be clear! Yoga has been therapeutic and restorative all along and offers great intrinsic values to provide preventive and curative healing to most who have praticed it for thousands of years. That's why it is still known today and has such a fast growth in the Western world. Yoga works beyond the limitations of regular boundries of the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.

The health benefits from a regular yoga practice gain more recognition from the health care practitioners every year. More medical doctors and other health care practitioners now practice yoga and recommand yoga to their patients.

Yoga teachers are becoming more versatile and knowledgeable in holding space as healing practioners. They are also getting more respect. A lot of them are also massage therapists, reiki masters, chakra balancing therapists, physiotherapists, ostheopaths, etc. The healing arts get interwoven to allow an increased perspective on their client's healing possibilities.

Description of the program

This advanced intensive teacher training is designed for yoga teachers (RYT-200 required) and experienced health care practitioners. You will get a better understanding of how to use postures (asanas), breath (pranayama), meditation (Dhyana) and intentions, to guide you into the first steps of using yogic skills in a therapeutic approach. This can be performed one-on-one or in a specifically tailored class or workshop for a group having a common illness or issue.

You will learn alignment principles, hands-on adjustments, variations and insights to support your practice. You will fill an online health form for you to provide the necessary information for the facilitator to respond to your specific needs. Throughout the program, you will enjoy personalized attention with individual assessments, learn how to heal your body with custom routines and sequences. You will unveil the nature of your limitations, range of motions, movement patterns and restricting beliefs. You are bound to be successful to connect and expand with new tools for self-revelation.

In order to get a deeper understanding of the human body mecanic and energy, this program also includes an introduction to the healing arts of Naturopathy and chakra balancing. These practices will help you understand how to behave like a conduit for prana, a vessel for light, a healing bridge between your client and your guidance. This will bring awareness on the sacredness of touching someone's body, the softness required for physical contact and to develop the ''right touch'' with adjustments.

    • Hands, wrists, shoulders girdles and neck

    • The core and the pelvic floor: Stop the massacre!

  • Advanced Asanas

    • Supported Inversions without involving the head and neck

    • Shoulder stands that are safe for all

    • Safe backbends

    • New ways to twist: active & passive

  • Postural Analysis & Correction

  • Healing art of Chakra Balancing

  • Naturopathy personal assessment and lecture

This program is designed to enhence self-confidence, rise awareness and serve better while knowing how to adress, and adjust a yoga practice for:

  • Stiff, scared or unfit beginners

Asanature is a Yoga Certified School with Yoga Alliance

Yoga Alliance is an association of yoga schools and yoga teachers. Yoga Alliance establishes the quality standards of professorships to be respected by schools, both in practice and theory. When the student completes his training at a school certified by the Yoga Alliance, he becomes eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance as a certified yoga teacher. You must complete all requisits and attempt all classes during the program with ASANATURE in order to graduate and register with the Yoga Alliance.

Prerequisites for this advance TrainingThe main prerequisite is the commitment to invest time and energy in order to successfully complete this training. The training is open to participants of all levels. The purpose of this training is above all to allow you to deepen your personal practice.
