Cacao Ceremony
Cacao Ceremony

This initiatory ceremony is an introduction to the spiritual rite. Indigenous peoples in Latin America, such as the Mayas and the Incas, used cacao as a hot drink at gatherings where only the privileged of the upper classes could participate. In the regions of the world from which it originates, cacao is perceived as a sacred medicinal plant.

For our ceremonies, we use an organic product that comes from a Mayan tribe in the rainforest on the west coast of Guatemala. The mixture we serve is made up of cacao powder, cacao butter, hot water and sugar as needed.

The rhythm of the drum, the songs and the state of meditation are an integral part of the experience in which one explores another state of consciousness between sleep and awakening.

This plant becomes a spiritual partner to favor the connection to the opening of the heart and the internal work. It allows space for a transformation with ease and depth while initiating intuition and inspiration.
